A MUST TRY: FONUTS

When you think of the word "Fonut", you think of donuts. Then when the word "donut" pops into your head, you think of a fried, doughy treat. However, you are wrong. Your thoughts of donuts will be forgotten when you take a bite of a fonut!

This small shop on Third Street, co-owned by pastry chef Waylynn Lucas (seen on cake wars), will amaze you with the taste of fonuts! They even have gluten free/vegan options ,so everyone can try a taste of these amazing desserts!
I have been to the shop this week and tried multiple flavors: Cinamon Sugar, Salted Caramel, Red Velvet, Frosted, Earl Grey Blueberry, and Strawberry. Here are my opinions on the fonuts I tried:
Cinnamon Sugar: This fonut is very fluffy and very soft when you bite into this toasty cinnamon delight. If you like simple and light flavors, this fonut will be best for you!
Salted Caramel: This sweet and salty treat treat is for you sugar lovers! The glaze is thick and the bread is very soft.
Red Velvet: This is one of my favorite and one of my family's favorite! This fonut is like a cake texture with cream cheese filling with sprinkles on top. It's like a Birthday Surprise!
Earl Grey Blueberry: My favorite of all fonuts, blueberry! This blueberry fonut with that extra blueberry glaze are for berry lovers!
Strawberry Buttermilk: This light strawberry is just for berry lovers with stawberry and fresh milk bread and a strawberry glaze on top.
Glazed: One of the fonuts' original flavors, Glazed is the original fonut bread with vanilla glaze and sprinkles on top.
